Women's History Month: Spotlight on Marcela Klicova
Next up in our Women's History Month series is Marcela Klicova who is one of our most recent ceramic artists. Marcela left communist Czechoslovakia with her husband and 2 children in 1985 and immigrated to the U.S. She dedicated a lot of her working life to helping refugees, asylum seekers, and homeless people. 20 years ago, she started learning ceramics to "add joy" to her work life, and she's never stopped making pots since! All her pieces are functional and beautiful, and we love her matte blue green glaze.
